Just a quick note letting you guys know that I'm interested in hosting group orders for Sadol and Leekeworld on their in-stock items.
I was going to wait until next month to buy stuff for my new boy, but I can't wait anymore. I'll be getting stuff from Sadol and Leeke, and I would gladly host group orders to save us all on shipping fees since both of these companies only ship their items via EMS.
Before I go off and order these stuff by myself, please let me know if you would like to join in. (please ^_^) You don't have to get stuff from both companies, either one is fine.
This will be US based, but I'm willing to ship them internationally as well. I live in a very urban city, close to an international airport, so things I receive or send away usually arrive generally a lot quicker than most places in the world.
So please join me (I'm pretty desperate right now, lol, EMS shipping is too much). If we get enough people, I'll post the GO form soon.

XP Could you help me, by any chance? I've been wanting one for a while, like for taking photos of scenery, the artwork and things I make...portraiture for when I do make-up and special effects.

Yes, a DSLR is a very good investment! I'm not a DSLR pro but I can give advice from my experience. When I purchased my Nikon, I honestly didn't know much about DSLR, and I thought that all that really matter was which camera to get. What I overlooked was that getting the right lens is also very important! Either Nikon or Canon offers good DSLR, you can choose from either one of them. You really don't need something super expensive unless you want to become a professional photographer. For hobbyist, all you really need is something from $400 - $1000. For the lens though, if you are going to take pictures of dolls, nails, small things like that, get a lens with 1.8 - 2.8 aperture. It's going to give your pictures a very nice bokeh, and instantly looking good! I'm actually saving up for one of those lens because the one I use right now is a 5.6, which is a very average range, not too specific for anything. I wish I knew about this earlier because all the dolls pictures that I've seen on DA with the 1.8 or 2.8 aperture looks so amazing. And mine is only 5.6 T_T Sad.
Also, if you go into my "nature and wildlife" folder, you'll find the pictures taken by a Canon DSLR. That camera belongs to my dad, and it's also a very good DSLR. It's older than mine, and offers less feature, but the pictures taken were amazing. All my doll photos were taken with my Nikon DSLR though.
LOL yeah it would have been awesome to get them all together and take fun photos. I think Nicky misses his friends.
I was looking at Canon, Nikon, and then just a Fujifilm for a novice/beginner step towards the cameras.I didn't know about the aperture, though. I will keep note of that! I really want that gorgeous and clear look. xD! And omg bokeh! Must have the pretties!!
I'm struggling as it is with my digital camera, it was handed down to me, and it is good...but not good enough for what I want to do. Also, I really could use a dslr to help with presenting my artwork and crafts much more professionally.
And yeah...Nicky needs to look Fabulous in photos, of course. xD

Really? I never went to fananime before, lol. I almost went several times but somehow I changed my mind at the last minute. I was going to go last year with my friend's boyfriend, but then they broke up and it would be weird to go with just him. -.- Plus I don't cosplay. haha
I don't really like Fujifilm... I think for the same amount of money, you'll get better cameras if you go with Nikon or Canon. I spent $300 on a normal Fujifilm camera when I was a kid... and it sucks! Now that I think about it, I could just add another $200, and get a pro DSLR. My mom's digital Canon that only cost her $120 takes way better pictures than my $300 Fujifilm. So yea, never again.
I bought my Nikon D5100 when it first came out along with my lens for $800. I believe it cost less now. xD The lens that I want is around $250... a little more for a doll body right there! haha
